Enable Commands Cheats

When creating your Survival world in Minecraft Pocket Edition, scroll down to the “Cheats” heading and move the slider to the right so that the slider turns green.

give

Format: give <target> <item> [<count>]

Functions: Gives an item to one or more players.

gamerule

Format: gamerule <rule name> [<value>]

Functions: Sets or queries a game rule value. For example /gamerule doMobSpawning false, this command serves to disable monster spawning. Many players sometimes go to experience the super flat mode, but the slimes in the super flat mode will constantly appear so that players are too busy fighting monsters to care about others. This command is handy, and with the kill command, there will not be any naturally occurring creatures to disturb the player’s ultra-flat mode game experience. The second handy command is /gamerule doDaylightCycle false, which turns off time flow. For example, if some players don’t like the night, just use this command during the daytime so that your Minecraft will only have daylight.

title

Format:

  • title <targets> (clear|reset) ;
  • title <targets> (title|subtitle|actionbar) <title> ;
  • title <targets> times <fadeIn> <stay> <fadeOut>

effect

Format: effect clear [<targets>] [<effect>]

Functions: Add or remove status effects on players and other entities.

enchant

Format: enchant <targets> <enchantment> [<level>]

Functions: Adds enchantment to a player’s selected item, subject to the same restrictions as an anvil. Also works on any mob or entity holding a weapon/tool /armor in their main hand in Java Edition.

locate

Format: /locate <StructureType>

Functions: Displays the coordinates for the closest generated structure of a given type in the chat for the player who executed the command. You can use it to find many relics, which can be a necessary command for many travel-oriented players.

gamemode

Format: gamemode (adventure|creative|spectator|survival) [<target>]

Functions: Sets a player’s game mode.

xp

Format: /XP <count> <targets>

Functions: Give players experience.

kill

Format: kill [<targets>]

Functions: Kills entities (players, mobs, items, etc.).

summon

Format: summon <entity> [<pos>] [<nbt>]

Functions: Summons an entity.

fill(Fill Command Minecraft)

Format:

  • fill <from> <to> <block> [destroy|hollow|keep|outline|replace]
  • fill <from> <to> <block> replace [<filter>]

Functions: Fills all or parts of a region with a specific block.

clear

Format: clear [<targets>] [<item>] [<maxCount>]

Functions: Clears items from player inventory, including items being dragged by the player.

clone

Format:

  • clone <begin> <end> <destination> [replace|masked] [force|move|normal]
  • clone <begin> <end> <destination> filtered <filter> [force|move|normal]

Functions: Clones blocks from one region to another.

Format: difficulty [easy|hard|normal|peaceful]

ability

testfor

Formats: testfor <victim: target>

kick

Format: kick <target> [<reason>]

Functions: Kicks a player off the server.

playsound

Format: playsound <sound> <source> <targets> [<pos>] [<volume>] [<pitch>] [<minVolume>]

tag

Format:

op

Format: op <targets>

Functions: Grants operator status to a player.
