MagSafe accessories have the impact on Medical devices
Apple has acknowledged that MagSafe accessories might interfere with medical devices like pacemakers and defibrillators due to magnet compoments and radios of them in Apple support document recently.
Significantly, in this support document, Apple revealed more details:
"Medical devices such as implanted pacemakers and defibrillators might contain sensors that respond to magnets and radios when in close contact. To avoid any potential interactions with these devices, keep your iPhone and MagSafe accessories a safe distance away from your device (more than 6 inches / 15 cm apart or more than 12 inches / 30 cm apart if wirelessly charging). But consult with your physician and your device manufacturer for specific guidelines."
Although Apple has given the safe distance, if you or your family has transplanted medical devices, it is better to consult your physican and mdeical device manufactures to make sure its safety.
That is not only Apple MagSafe people need to take care, but also other electric devices, for example most of smartphones. They contain magnet components as well as Apple does and would continuously emit electromagnetic fields to interfere with medical devices. Therefore, please consult doctors and manufacturers of them before using.
