Nights in Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 game

The player takes on the role of the protagonist who is defending against his nightmares. His nightmares are recurring and getting stronger each night, but remember, “Tomorrow is another day”. In the mini-game of each night, you will be the boy looking back on the story happened in 1983.

While the most basic gameplay involves completing five nights as the title suggests, the player ends up unlocking the hidden Night 6, the doll called “Nightmare” in Night 7, and the 20/20/20/20 in Night 8. The dolls appear at random points in the game. We share some hits to help you survive each night.

The Night 1

The first Night is an instructional level, which focuses on training the beginners. It is still difficult for beginners. No need to rush through on the first night, learn how to recognize the bears’ sounds, which will be a great help for the next levels.

At the beginning, you should always check the left and right doors, where the dolls may come in. Meanwhile, intermittently look at the teddy bears behind you, cause they’re slow to congregate here.

Most new players will die because they don’t hear the breath in time and get attacked by the bear from the door. The sounds are brief, so keep focus! When you hear the sounds, close the door, and stay for a moment, then leave to check another door, and then come back to make sure the bear is gone. Don’t open the door right away!

The Night 2

The frequency of dolls increases on the second Night, and the teddy bears behind you gather at a slightly faster speed, so you should also check more often. The appearance of teddy bears is mainly at the right and left room doors. Besides, the foxy appears in the middle closet. The closet is different from the side doors, you have to open and close the closet door continuously and wait until the foxy gets smaller or disappears before leaving.

The sounds become more complex. In addition to the breathing, there are footsteps, and you have to know the direction of the sounds in time to close the door to survive.

The Night 3

The difficulty is slightly increased from the second Night. A more attentive player can get through quickly. Once you’ve checked the left and right doors, you should look at the bears behind you for once, as they’re gathering faster. As for the fox in the center, it’s still relatively easy to deal with.

Hints:

  • There will be a door closing sound, which is not quite the same as the left and right room doors.
  • Also the doors of the cabinets will move a bit, which indicates that the fox is coming.
  • Even there is no sound from the doorway, be sure to use flashlights to repel the teddy bears and keep them away.

The Night 4

The 4th Night is generally an enhanced version of the third Night, requiring players to be faster and more judicious.

You’re better off focusing the first half of the night on checking the left and right room doors and the teddy bears behind you, with the fox in the center staying. The second half of the night makes you busier, as the fox is about to come. As a result, you need to check the rooms faster and carefully.

The Night 5

The difficulty of this level increases. The player is about to be greeted by a big monster and the gameplay is slightly different. Even if you do not turn on the light for a long time, there are no other dolls to attack.

  • When you hear the sound, close the door without turning on the light, so you can save some time.
  • In addition, the bear’s footsteps are also more obvious.
  • Around 2:00, there is the bear’s laughter, go to check and close the door in time.

The Night 6

The dolls that appear on the first five Nights all appear and attack the player on the sixth night. They are Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Cupcake, Nightmare Foxy, and then Golden Freddy.

  • Before 3 o’clock you should notice the Nightmare Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Cupcake, and Foxy.
  • Between 3 and 4 am, you’ll want to pay extra attention to the unique footsteps of Golden Freddy in addition to the above nightmare dolls.
  • After 4:00 it’s Golden Freddy’s showtime. It’s important to judge the direction of its sound, don’t be fooled by the doll.

The Nights 7 and 8

On the 7th Night, the dolls will attack the player even more frantically, which is quite a test of hand speed! What appears after 4:00 is the last monster, Nightmare, the black one with red and silver eyes.

After you beat it, type 202020 (no spaces) to unlock Night 8. Nights 7 and 8 are hard, it is normal if you can not beat them on your first try. On Night 8, you’ll have to pull out all the stops.

Final Words

The story threads are quite cryptic in Five Nights at Freddy’s 4. Most of them appear to be relatively complete only after the player pays careful attention, deduces, and organizes them so that the context of the series as a whole to be further revealed. Much of it is devoted to answering questions accumulated from the previous three installments.
