Tips for increasing Elixir speed in Clash Royale

Clash Royale Elixir is used to place cards on the battlefield. Players start fighting with 5 potions and can hold up to 10 potions in battle. After 2 minutes in the battle, each player will receive an additional potion.

The only way to increase Elixir production is to use Elixir Collector. Its price is 6 potions, and 8 potions will be generated during its lifetime, so the player will get a profit of 2 potions. If you are attacked by spells or other cards, you may not make a lot of money, but usually this also consumes your opponent’s potion. When players have more potions than their opponents, they usually make it easier to attack and defend.

How to get Elixir in Clash Royale?

To get the Elixir in the Clash Royale game, you can defend with fewer cards than your opponent’s offensive units. Common examples are the Skeleton Army defending giants, and the Arrow Team defending minion tribes. Both earned 2 Elixir profits. In the Double and Triple Elixir Challenges, players start from 0 Elixir instead of 5, but Elixir regenerates 2 or 3 times faster throughout the game, respectively. In the “Acceleration Challenge”, Elixir regenerates at normal speed in the first minute, then doubles in the second minute, and finally doubles in the third minute. Doing these things can also increase Elixir.

More tips for increasing elixir speed

1. Arrows to kill Goblin Barrel

You use Arrows which cost 3 Elixir to kill Goblin Barrel which costs 4 Elixir. This will give you a one Elixir advantage.

2. Arrows or Fireball to kill Minion Horde

If your opponent hits a small servant tribe far away from your troops and high towers, you have the opportunity to make a very advantageous trade. If you kill the minion tribe with arrows, you will get two Elixir advantages! There is nothing better than this. If you kill it with a fireball for 4 potions, you will get a potion advantage.

3. Arrows or fireballs kill a large number of soldiers

If you manage to hit two or more cards worth of troops you can make a big profit. In the situation above you kill both the Goblins and the Minion Horde, 7 Elixir worth of troops. This will give you a 4 Elixir advantage which is huge !

4. Tombstone to kill Prince, Giant or Hog Rider

The opponent plays the prince, then drops a tombstone near the tower. A tombstone with a skeleton will extinguish the prince along with the fire from the tower. The prince spent 5 potions, and the tombstone only cost 3 potions, which brings you a good 2 potion gain.

5. Never sit at 10 Elixir

If you sit at 10 Elixir while your opponent spends his on useful troops you will end up at a disadvantage. Strictly speaking you won’t be at an Elixir disadvantage, but you will end up losing health on your towers as you won’t have troops there to defend them. The whole goal of gaining an Elixir advantage is to use it to kill your opponent’s towers while defending your own.

The late game strategy is a double elixir, and you should provide more support for your thrust with the troops you know will best resist the opponent’s defense. You can also use spells to protect pigs or giant knights. Keep putting pressure on trying to build a tower, facing the cemetery, you may need to keep switching lanes so that your opponent cannot build a huge counter push.
