ENIX recently announced the release of Aplibot’s "NieR" series for smartphone platforms to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the "NieR" series. Square Enix has announced the latest release in the NeiR series, "NieR Re[in]carnation", which is expected to arrive on iOS/Android and is still an RPG.

The "NieR Re[in]carnation" payment method is free for basic play, in-game props require in-app purchases, and go-live dates and game details have not been announced.

The advance trailer of "NieR Re[in]carnation" shows some conceptual images and text, more details to follow.

Nier is an action role-playing video game developed by Cavia and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In Japan, the game was released as Nier Gestalt for the Xbox 360, while an alternate version entitled Nier Replicant was released exclusively in Japan for PlayStation 3 with a younger main character. A high-definition remaster of Replicant, titled Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, is in development for a worldwide release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
