How to Disable iPhone Control Center While Using Apps?

Has the iPhone Control Center on your iPhone ever gotten in the way?

If you’re playing a game or using an app where you have to tap or swipe on the top right, then you know what I mean. Sometimes you open the Control Center by mistake. And if you’re a new iPhone user, this can be incredibly aggravating.

While the iPhone Control Center is a handy tool, you don’t always need it “right there.” But luckily, there’s one small setting that can keep it where it belongs while you’re using your apps. This means no more accidental Control Center invasions during your game or app time.

Here’s how to turn off your iPhone Control Center when using apps.

Where Is Control Center on iPhone?

All the goodness of configuring your iPhone happens in the Settings, and this option is no different.

First, open Settings on your iPhone. Then, select Control Center.

If you want to open the control center more quickly on your phone, there is also this method:

For iPhone X and later devices:
To open Control Center, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen.
To close Control Center, swipe up from the bottom of the screen or tap the screen.
Note: You can’t swipe near the center of the screen. Otherwise, it’s easy to open the notification center.

For iPhone SE, iPhone 8 and earlier, and iPod touch devices:
To open Control Center, swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen.
To close Control Center, tap the top of the screen or press the Home button.

How to Disable iPhone Control Center While Using Apps?

First, open Settings on your iPhone. Then, select Control Center. Turn off the toggle for Access Within Apps.

Once you disable that switch, give it a try. Open an app and try to access your Control Center. You shouldn’t be able to open it. If you need to access it, head back to your Home screen, swipe from the corner like usual, and there it is.

In addition to that, you can download a lot of hacked games for free from Panda Helper.
