Apple recently released iOS 14.5.1 to the public, and the large number of updates and numerous forward-looking additions make it a pretty significant release. In addition, Apple has introduced privacy and security features which will protect users from unauthorized data access.

Now, Checkra1n jailbreak has also been updated to the latest v0.12.3 version which supports iOS 14.5 along with M1 Mac and fixes critical bugs.

There are also some issues specific to Chinese users that need attention. Some users have reported that Checkra1n crashes when Chinese is set as the only system language. It is not known if any other languages are affected.

One thing that must be noted is that the Checkra1n jailbreak tool for iOS 14.5 is only available for selected iPhone and iPad models. On the iPhone side, you can use the update on iPhone 6s through iPhone X.
