2K Games recently announced WWE 2K Battlegrounds, an arcade-style wrestling game developed by NBA 2K Playground developer Saber Interactive with some cute cartoon elements, which will be released this fall, but the release platform has not been announced.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a brand new WWE gaming experience that will feature arcade-style action and slightly exaggerated superstar designs, environments and action. We focus on social activities, but the game also has plenty of depth for those who want to dive into it.

Whether you are a casual player who has just started or a passionate fan who has prepared all the actions, WWE 2K Battlegrounds provides another way to enjoy the "WWE" series of action games.This game was developed by Saber Interactive. The studio was responsible for the development of "NBA 2K Playground". This WWE work is their latest work.

2K Games has also confirmed that it will not be releasing a traditional WWE 2K series simulation game in 2021, ensuring that the Visual Concepts development team will be able to create a new game that draws on the feedback and lessons learned from WWE 2K20, a game that will serve veteran players and newcomers alike.

In light of this, 2K Games has hired PatrickGilmore to oversee the development of WWE2K games at Visual Concepts. Gilmore has over 25 years of video game experience, having previously worked on the development of Aladdin, Hitman Academy, Medal of Honor, and Amazon’s New World.
