Steam Is Hosting A Summer Game Festival, During Which Offers Free Access To Games
Last year, TGA joined forces with STEAM to hold an event called the Game Festival, during which all STEAM platform users were offered free access to games in development, which was supported by a large number of players. Due to this year’s epidemic, a large number of 2020 gaming events, including E3, have been cancelled, so STEAM will once again hold a gaming festival event in the summer.
Because of the outbreak, STEAM had moved up a Spring Game Festival event on March 19, when more than 40 new games were offered for free play. Today (14), TGA host/host Geoff Keighley announced via his own tweet that the 2020 STEAM Summer Gaming Festival will take place between June 9-14. An application page is now open for game developers who wish to participate in the event.

Geoff Keighley’s announcement of the Summer Games Festival also means that this year’s special time will be spent exploring new ways to celebrate gaming together. On social media, players, on the other hand, expressed their desire to see the Big Three hosting giants come together again.
With the cancellation of E3 2020, major game manufacturers have had to start accepting work from home due to the epidemic. This doesn’t mean there will be a shortage of new game announcements in the gaming world this year, as IGN’s previously announced events and the STEAM Summer Games Festival will bring new news to players.
